Mr. Byrd founded Gen Cap in 1988 and has been responsible for the firm’s strategic planning and investment policy. Mr. Byrd received a B.A. from the University of Tennessee, a J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law and an M.B.A. from the Wharton Graduate School of Business.
