Barış Gen is IFC’s Regional Lead covering investments in private equity funds in Europe and Central Asia. He represents IFC on the advisory boards of 21 Concordia, Turkven Private Equity and CapMan Russia. Previously he was with IFC’s Global Financial Markets Department, covering investments in financial institutions in Southeast Europe and Turkey,
with a focus on equity investments. He holds a BSc in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from London Business School, University of London.
