Since 1994, Aviva has lectured in Philosophy, Psychoanalysis and Communications Theory. She has combined her academic work with a career as a Senior Communications Consultant, working with both public sector and private sector clients.
In 2006, Aviva began creating projects to support family carers and people living with chronic illness; she is
the founder of Research & Hope Ltd. and the Carers’ Sanctuary on-line magazine. Aviva has a PhD that traverses four disciplines.
