Mr. Widmer joined Patriot in 2015. His responsibilities include building financial models, assisting with company and industry due diligence, and assisting with the monitoring of portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Patriot, Mr. Widmer was an analyst in the Investment Banking division of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. (“KBW”), a boutique
investment banking firm exclusively serving the financial institutions industry, where he worked directly with company executives and managing directors to advise clients on strategic initiatives, transformational mergers and acquisitions, capital raises and other unique corporate strategies. His experience focused primarily on the Southeast and includes two initial public offerings in addition to multiple whole-bank M&A transactions, branch sales and divestitures. Prior to joining KBW, Mr. Widmer served as a Credit Administrator with WashingtonFirst Bank in Reston, Virginia.
Mr. Widmer graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, where he received a B.A. in History.
