Atanu has over 15 years experience servicing the information and technology requirements of insurance companies around the globe. He has functioned as a trusted advisor to Chief Information Officers for major technology and outsourcing initiatives. He also led and implemented large programs designed to achieve significant cost and performance
efficiencies in IT operations.
Most recently, Atanu was a Client Partner of Cognizant, a Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500, technology consulting company. He was a core member of the business development and client relationship team that grew Cognizant’s insurance vertical revenue from less than $50 million to $540 million in seven years. Atanu consistently delivered significant client value and customer satisfaction.
Prior to Cognizant, he was the Insurance Business Head of PSI Data Systems and the Insurance Practice Manager of Wipro Technologies. At Apex Systems, he developed key modules of policy administration systems for non-life insurers in Asia and Europe.
Atanu has a BS in Mathematics from Jadavpur University, Calcutta and an MBA in Finance, Marketing and Economics from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and son. He loves to travel and experience the ethnic cuisine. His other interests include predictive analytics in sports and politics.
