Ata Ivanov is a veteran mobile technology executive with more than 15 years of product and technology experience, specializing in developing software applications and platforms for the mobile industry. As Executive Vice President of Engineering for the PlayPhone Social Gaming Network, Ivanov is responsible for product engineering, platform
development, and major partner integrations.
Prior to PlayPhone, Ivanov co-founded Jacked, Inc., a real-time broadcast television search company whose customers included NBC, CBS, Comcast Sports Net, NBA, NHL, and Yahoo among others. As the VP of Engineering at Jacked, Ivanov led an international team in architecting and building a multi-patent platform that contextually fuses broadcast television with real-time search. Jacked was sold to Roundbox in 2010.
Previously, Ivanov was Director of Product Engineering at Infospace, where he ran the largest mobile media enterprise platform in North America, providing mobile storefront and portal services to AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Before Moviso was sold to Infospace, Ivanov served as Moviso?s Manager of Storefronts and Merchandising. There he built the largest mobile media distribution platform in North America and successfully launched the on-deck mobile content storefronts for Cingular and T-Mobile.
Ivanov holds a Master's of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Master's of Computer Systems from Technical University of Sofia in Bulgaria.
