Arthur Pixler is a former school superintendent who currently lives in Fenton, Iowa. Over the course of his work, he took on many roles, including teacher, coach, and principal. When Arthur was the superintendent of the school district, he was responsible for overseeing the various aspects of the district, such as curriculum, instruction, and
budget management. He is grateful to have been able to continue serving the community after his retirement.He was a Wayne State College attendee, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in education. His Master of Science in education comes from Drake university, and he has an Advanced Studies Certificate in Superintendency from the University of Northern Iowa. He worked for more than 4 decades in the field of education, and has since taken closely to community and volunteer work. As an active Free Mason, he is proud to represent the organization through his work even after retirement. Arthur Pixler is now a substitute teacher and enjoys volunteering his time on various committees. When he’s not working, he enjoys traveling and hanging out with his family. Arthur also has been serving as the treasurer of the Grand Lodge of Iowa for the past year. During the course of his duties, he has been able to participate in various community activities, such as the laying of cornerstones for public buildings and the re-dedicating of masonic lodges. He also attended formal gatherings of the Grand Lodge brothers. Arthur is also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fenton, Iowa. He also serves on the staff parish relations committee and is a trustee for a charitable organization that is affiliated with the Grand Lodge of Iowa. For the past ten years, Arthur has been known to play Santa Claus in the church's community club. Arthur Pixler has always been fascinated by the intersection of culture and politics. He is also interested in how art can affect the public discourse. He believes that sports and art can help bridge the divide in the country. According to Arthur, the U.S. has become more divided since the COVID-19 pandemic started.
