Arno Walter, born in 1967, has since March 2015 CEO of comdirect bank AG. In addition to Corporate Strategy & Consulting, he is responsible of Corporate Communications, Internal Audit and Treasury & business partners. He is also chairman of the European Bank for Financial Services GmbH (ebase) and CEO of the Foundation arithmetic.
After
training as a banker at Dresdner Bank until 1990. Walter studied business administration at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. According to another station at Dresdner Bank in retail banking, he moved in 2000 to the Deutsche Bourse and then 2002 Commerzbank, where he held management positions in various fields. Recently there was responsible for Walter in the Retail Banking segment sales in the South West region as Executive Vice President.
