Arnie Leap joined 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. as Chief Information Officer (CIO) in December, 2013. Arnie is responsible for all aspects of Information Technology for the enterprise and reports directly to Company president, Chris McCann. Prior to joining the Company, Arnie worked for 16 years at Direct Insite Corp, a provider of on demand cloud based
software where he held a variety of roles culminating with his position as Executive Vice President, CTO. In this role, Arnie was the senior IT person in charge of Application Development, Product Roadmap, Infrastructure and Strategic Planning. He was responsible for the delivery of services to clients on a worldwide basis including multiple global Fortune 500 system and process improvement deployments. Prior to Direct Insite, Arnie served as Director of Information Systems at AMP/AKZO Riverhead Circuits, where he was responsible for MIS operations for three manufacturing facilities, including IT and networking. Arnie began his career in IT as a software developer at Opus-ISM, a software services company focused on the pharmacy management business.
