Prof. Zigler is the Chair of physics at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. He has over 35 years of experience in experimental physics in area of electro-optics, spectroscopy, high power lasers, laser accelerators and plasma physics.
Prof. Zigler has published over 150 scientific publications and delivered numerous invited talks at
scientific conferences. He is a fellow of American Physics Society.
Prof. Zigler also holds over 10 granted patents, serves as a scientific consultant to numerous technology companies in both Israel and the US, and was a co-founder of X-Technologies Inc. – an interventional cardiology company which was acquired by Guidant Corp. (now Boston Scientific) in 2003.
