Anthony Yam is a forward-thinking leader in digital advertising, Yam co-chairs the IAB Flex Ads Working Group and has contributed to the development of the flexible, next-generation IAB ad portfolio that enables beautiful, scalable and respectful advertising experiences across the web. Previously Chief Product Officer and co-founder of Spongecell,
he led development of an advanced dynamic creative and decisioning platform. Spongecell and Flashtalking merged in early 2018 to become the industry leading ad management platform. Prior to Spongecell, Yam built the flagship product for a natural language processing startup that was successfully acquired and integrated into Ariba’s spend management platform, now part of SAP. Early in his career, he developed electronic defense systems at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C. Yam graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
