Anthony is Managing Director & Chief Information Officer of Europe Retail & Business Banking & Global Operations for Barclays Bank PLC. Anthony has over 16 years of experience in managing complex technology ecosystems in major global firms with high data processing requirements.
Immediately prior to Barclays Anthony was Senior Vice
President & Global Head of Technology Services for Wells Fargo Bank leading technology operations across 44 countries.
Previously Anthony has worked at CitiGroup, Microsoft and First-e Bancorp, Europe’s first internet bank. Anthony is a British Citizen and lives in London, England.
In addition, Anthony is a Founding Trustee and Member of the Board of The Inclusion Foundation (An independent grant giving charity that provides financial support, advice and assistance to charitable and voluntary organisations working in equality, diversity and inclusion from across the United Kingdom), An ambassador for Stonewall (Europe’s largest LGB rights charity) and an Ambassador for Diversity Role Models (A UK based LGBT education and anti bulling charity).
Anthony also chairs the European Diversity Awards, Europe’s largest awards ceremony, which recognises and celebrates individuals, organisations and companies from across Europe, which make a difference in the field of diversity.
Anthony is an Independent Non-Executive Director, Member of the Board and Chair of the Audit Committee and Member of the Renumeration Committee of DGS.
