A product designer, Anthony Olbres has created designs for the automotive and retail industries. Anthony Olbres got his start in product design in 1968 when General Motors' Styling Staff hired him to develop automotive designs, a job that involved creating futuristic designs.

Anthony Olbres' design concepts were used with the Pontiac,

Chevrolet, and Cadillac brands. Eventually, General Motors made him head designer of Studio-X, a department that created experimental automotive designs. He received recognition for some of his design concepts, with one of them being used for the exterior of the Pontiac Grand Am.

Later in his design career, Mr. Olbres was hired by INTEREX, Inc., a company that designed exhibits for companies such as PUMA, Timberland, Bausch & Lomb, Keurig, and Sean John. As the company’s design director, he was responsible for the design process, which included creating concepts and scale models, writing quotes, developing costing, and ordering production materials. The industry recognized his work by giving him awards for the Best of Show, at the Shoe Show, the SKI Show and Outdoor Retailer trade events.

More recently, he opened ENCORE. As owner, he formulated the new company to cater to clients in the hip-hop industry and other former clients. As a hands-on business owner, he was involved in designing concepts, creating drawings, submitting proposals, sourcing materials, and overseeing product installations.
