Anthony (Tony) Brady is a Managing Director and Digital Officer for the Treasury Services business. In this role, he manages the Digital Office, which partners with the business, technology and operations leadership groups to advance the Treasury Services' digital transformation. Improved client experience is at the heart of this team's
objective; they identify critical functions and leverage internal, cross-business and third-party technology and data to create improved functional processing and unique solutions for clients. He also is responsible for working with industry workgroups and fintech companies to evaluate the potential use cases for using emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and distributed ledger to improve the client experience with respect to payments and working capital management. Finally, Tony's team also supports new innovation idea evaluation and program management in order to accelerate Treasury Services' product development. Prior to his current position, Tony served as the Head of Global Product Management for Treasury Services, including leadership of the product management, product development, and strategic planning functions for the business, driving the development of new and innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients. He was also responsible for creating and implementing plans that continue to position BNY Mellon Treasury Services as a leading payment provider as new technologies are adopted. Tony was one of the original members of the SWIFT Global Payments Innovation Initiative (GPII) Vision Group, and remains active in driving adoption of the first new US payment system in four decades, the Real Time Payment system, as a member of The Clearing House's Payments Company Board of Directors. Since joining the organization in 1983,Mr. Brady has held a variety of other management positions within Treasury Services and its predecessor organizations including serving as the Treasury Services' Chief Administrative Officer (CAO),Manager of Treasury Services' Operations, Client Service and Onboarding, and Merger & Integration Head managing Treasury Services' integration activities post-merger of Mellon Financial and Bank of New York, which included coordinating the efforts necessary to integrate the two legacy business' technology and operations into a single, streamlined entity. A Certified Treasury Manager (CTP) since 1993, he received a bachelor's degree from Penn State University and an MBA from Duquesne University. He also received a Certificate for completion of the Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2018.
