Anne is a researcher in SOLE Central which is a global hub for research into Self-Organised Learning Environments (SOLEs), bringing together researchers, practitioners, policy makers and entrepreneurs.
In her research around SOLEs, she collaborates to bring research expertise and experience to probing the question of what educational
technology can do to help communities in a time of rapid global change? Her research activity builds on the strong foundation and thought provoking work of Professor Sugata Mitra, whose work has already transformed lives in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the world through the School in the Cloud.
Anne is motivated and passionate about collaborative research around technology which works towards finding solutions to real-world problems. Her current projects include developing SOLE approaches and toolkits for adults with learning difficulties, early school leavers and for local community activism.
