Ann Maitland joined BSN medical in 2001. Beginning her career with Smith & Nephew Textiles in 1974 within the Surgical Dressings business, she held various positions within a manufacturing capacity before being promoted to Manufacturing Director of the Medical Fabrics Division in 1998. Following the formation of BSN medical in 2001, Ann had
subsequent responsibility as VP Operations within the Orthopaedics global business unit. In 2006, she was appointed Senior VP responsible for Global Operations. She continues to manage the operations side of the business today.
In her role as EVP Global Operations, Ann is responsible for Global Logistics, Global Procurement, Global Supply Chain and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
