Ann Brady has executed a successful career as an early stage C-level executive and investor; her experience spans 20+ years in multiple industries and stages of growth.
Recently, Ann was CFO at uTest, a worldwide crowd-sourced software testing company. She helped successfully close their most recent $17M funding round, and handled all the
finance, accounting, HR, facilities and legal functions for the company. As the original CFO at ATG, Inc., a high technology company in Boston that Ann came to in their start up stage, she helped grow the company from 100 to 1,000+ employees worldwide. She helped take it from $5M to $250M in revenue and brought them public, making ATG a successful global enterprise, raising over $150M in funding. Prior to ATG, Ann joined Health Payment Review, Inc. (HPR) as an early employee; similarly, she built their financial and HR infrastructure, and helped take them public successfully, resulting in a positive exit in a sale to McKesson/HBOC.
Subsequently, Ann founded New England Business Solutions Group, LLC (NEBSG), a consulting firm specializing in interim C-level expertise for start-up and emerging growth companies. Her clients span a wide range of industries and stages, including software, services, biotechnology, environmental and non-profit sectors. Through NEBSG she recently worked at Apperian, Inc., a start up in the Iphone Applications space as interim CFO and is currently at another software startup in greater Boston, assisting the management team with multiple strategic initiatives in the sales, services and financial areas.
Ann is an active member of CommonAngels, and a member of many C-level networking groups. She is an avid supporter of Dana Farber Cancer Research and a volunteer in the Hopkinton Public School system in Massachusetts.
