Andy Maag has over 10 years of experience in software research and development. He is the vice president of engineering at Bazaarvoice, a SaaS-based company that turns social media into social commerce for global brands by enabling authentic customer-powered marketing.
Prior to Bazaarvoice, Maag spent six years at Trilogy Software, where he held
multiple research, development, and technical management roles. Most recently, he was a senior research scientist where he developed data-mining algorithms for applications in the eCommerce space.
Before joining Trilogy, Maag worked for Hewlett-Packard as a software developer on the HP-UX Operating System, and he also held roles at Apple and eBay. He holds his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in computer science from Stanford University.
