Andrew Liuzzi is the U.S. Director, Crisis and Issues Management at PwC. He attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
As the head of Edelman’s Crisis & Risk Management practice in Chicago, Andy serves a hybrid role, helping global clients with proactively mitigating issues and risk as well as working on long-term
reputation management strategies. Andy’s background includes: strategic counsel and execution across a broad range of operational, strategic, and crisis management engagements, high-profile litigation assignments and comprehensive public strategy campaigns.
Within Edelman’s Data Security & Privacy Group, Andy serves as the crisis lead for breach engagements. Recent work with data security and privacy have included engagements within the healthcare, retail, financial services, higher education and technology industries involving cyber attacks, hacktivists, lost devices with sensitive information and IP theft.
Additional crisis engagements span a variety of other industries including food, consumer products, technology, financial services and retail. Recent client work has included strategic engagements with Microsoft, Adobe, SC Johnson, ICANN, Mars/Wrigley, Kimberly-Clark, Burger King, Barilla, Kraft Foods, Fortune Brands, Wal-Mart, Allstate, Dover Corporation, Ingersoll Rand and Kellogg’s.
Andrew joined Edelman’s Reputation Management Group after six years at Manning Selvage & Lee’s Chicago Office in their Corporate practice. At MS&L, Andrew spent four years helping lead the United State Army PR account, including significant work on public affairs positioning surrounding the ongoing military operations in the Middle East and Central Asia.
