Professor Andy Hooper is Professor of Geodesy and Geophysics at the University of Leeds, and is a co-founder and Director of SatSense. He pioneered the development of new algorithms to accurately extract deformation of the ground from time series of satellite radar images, which are now widely used in the community (StaMPS). In 2016 he was awarded
the James B. Macelwane medal by the American Geophysical Union.
