Andy is based out of Calgary and is responsible for the energy markets served by EKA. He is the founder of EnCompass Technologies and has over 25 years of experience in the commodities market, specifically in the energy trading and risk management areas.
Andy comes to Eka as part of its acquisition of EnCompass Technologies. He founded the
company in 1992 and led the company through the design, development and implementation of the EnCompass Energy Suite, an industry leading ETRM platform. His experience with EnCompass included working with large financial institutions, large and midsized trading firms, utilities, and producers in all functional areas.
He has a customer focused approach with a focus on solving business process challenges. Prior to founding EnCompass, Andy worked for a Canadian based utility as well as Anderson Consulting serving primarily energy based companies.
Andy has a Bachelor of Business Degree (with Honours) from Wilfrid Laurier University and CMA certification.
