Andrew has spent the last two decades working at the nexus of new technologies and societal transformation. Andrew has co-founded, invested in, and advised more than a dozen start-ups and recently launched a new model of investment firm, Broadscale Group, working with leading energy companies to invest in and commercialize the industry's most
promising innovations.
In 2000, he founded GreenOrder, a strategy firm that has worked with more than 100 enterprises on energy and environmental innovation. Andrew has partnered with GE's leadership since 2004 on the creation and execution of its ecomagination initiative; counseled GM for five years on strategic issues including the launch of the Chevrolet Volt; and served as the green advisor for 7 World Trade Center, NYC’s first LEED-certified commercial office tower, while also working with a number of the country's other most prominent real estate firms. Andrew has written two books and held teaching and research appointments at the Aspen Institute, Columbia, Harvard, NYU, and Yale. Fortune described him as “green business’s go–to guy.”
