Andrew Lanning is the Co-Founder of Integrated Security Technologies (IST), a Honolulu based low-voltage electrical contracting firm specializing in electronic security system design, implementation, and maintenance since 1998. He began his computer and electronics career studying COBOL, Fortran, and ASSEMBLER programming languages in 1982. He
maintained and operated shipboard weapons systems for the United States Navy from 1985 until 1990 and performed military police duties from from 1990-1993. Mr. Lanning is the the current chair of the PSA Network Cybersecurity Committee, a member of SIA's Cybersecurity Advisory Committee, and the UL Industry Advisory Group For Cyber Security For The Life Safety & Security Industry. He is an active board member of the Hawaii information Communication and Technology Association. Andrew Lanning holds a BA in Social Science from the University of Hawaii-West Oahu, and a Master's Degree in Communications from Hawaii Pacific University in 2011.
