Andrew joined Velocix in July 2011 from Alcatel-Lucent. Prior to Velocix, Andy was the Strategic Pricing & Licensing Director within the Alcatel-Lucent Wireless Networks Product Division where he was responsible for setting up innovative and unique commercial pricing strategies tailored for specific customers and opportunities for all
all wireless technologies.
Previously, Andy held a number of management roles including Senior Manager of the Advanced Tendering Team in the newly merged Alcatel-Lucent, prior to the merger he held a number of wireless pre sales roles as well as leading the UMTS Portfolio Strategy and Business planning team.
Andrew started his career serving for 12 years as a Telecoms Technician in the British Army Royal Corps of Signals. After leaving the Army, Andy joined Motorola in 1992 working in various Product Management roles.
