Andrew Bud is Founder and CEO of iProov, the UK-based provider of online authentication based on face verification, whose patented One Time Biometric technology delivers uniquely strong resilience to spoofs, replays and hacking. iProov has been recognised, adopted and supported by UK Government agencies and has won numerous prizes from global
corporations, and its remote KYC solution has received regulatory recognition. Andrew is also Global Chair of the Mobile Ecosystem Forum, an international industry association serving the whole mobile value chain. He was formerly CEO and Executive Chairman of mBlox Inc., the world’s largest provider of enterprise-to-consumer text messaging services worldwide, which he founded in 2000 and on whose Board he served until its sale in 2016. Until 1998 he was SVP Marketing for Azlan, Cisco’s largest distributor in Europe. In 1994 he was member of the leadership team founding Italian mobile operator Omnitel Pronto Italia (now Vodafone Italia). Named in 2009 as one of the top 40 telecoms executives worldwide, he is a Fellow of the IET and has a first class degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
