In addition to his operating partner role with Energy Ventures, Boland sits on the board of directors of the General Partner for the Andylan Investors Limited Partnership, an activist fund operating in the Canadian oil and gas sector.
Boland has over 23 years of oil and gas
experience in the Western Canadian sedimentary basin. Prior to joining Peters & Co., Boland was Manager, Exploration at Pan East Petroleum and held senior geophysical and exploration roles at Norcen Energy and Shell Canada.
Ph.D. Geophysics from the University of British Columbia, an M.Sc. in Geophysics from University College, Galway, and a B.A. Mod. in Experimental Physics from Trinity College, Dublin. Boland is a member of the SEG and the CSEG.
