André Hegge is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cogo Planet. He began his entrepreneurial career as an internet marketing consultant in high school where he helped local businesses with their internet marketing. This entrepreneurial passion soon evolved to also include web development and social media that to this day remains his main
driving force. With an early understanding of how social media works and the difficulties small businesses encounter online he came up with the idea to unite the world of online forums to simplify and optimize forum marketing.
The choice to not go to college, despite top grades, was founded in his strong belief in the power of Autodidacticism, or self-learning. Since the founding of Cogo Digital André has developed a good understanding of accounting and economics, .NET development, project management and – most important of all – the need and joy in building healthy business relationships.
