Amy Farner is the Vice President, Product at The Josh Bersin Company.
Amy Farner has spent the last 20 years helping some of the world’s leading organizations make better decisions through data. She is currently leading a research initiative for UNLEASH aimed at better understanding the key drivers of successful HR technology implementations.
She also leads an effort at the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network to understand the experiences and opinions of cancer survivors, using the information to drive policy that helps more effectively prevent, detect, and treat cancer and to improve the lives of cancer patients and survivors.
Previously, Amy served as a leader in Deloitte Consulting’s survey research and analytics center, driving higher organizational performance through employee surveys for private and public sector organizations. During her tenure at Deloitte, she led the annual Human Capital Trends survey and data analysis, driving insights into how leading organizations are impacted by and responding to emerging human capital issues. She also led a groundbreaking survey of senior leaders in the federal government to assess organizational readiness to meet the evolving demands of the 21st century leadership.
Earlier in her career, Amy spent eight years at CEB (now Gartner) helping define and launch new human capital products. In CLC Solutions, Amy applied conjoint analysis to help Fortune 500 companies optimize their employee value proposition to better meet employee preferences. In CLC Metrics, Amy helped introduce groundbreaking online workforce analytics capability spanning multiple HR systems to the U.S. market, through a partnership with InfoHRM (now Success Factors workforce analytics). After CEB, Amy built an employee engagement solution targeted to hospital and health center employees at the Advisory Board Company.
Amy resides in Frederick, MD, USA, with her husband, John, and three children, Jack, Andy, and Sally.
