Dr. Amit Dang did his MBBS and MD Pharmacology (gold medalist) from Goa Medical College and was the recipient of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Award for being the university topper. He started off his career as an entrepreneur and is working in pharmaceutical space for over a decade now. He is the Founder & CEO of MarksMan Healthcare Communications, a
data science company providing HEOR, Medical Affairs and Data Analytics services, with head office in Hyderabad (India). He is the course director of MarksMan Academy of Health Sciences, that has launched an online self-paced Certification Programme in Fundamentals of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). He is the convener of Indian Medical Affairs Summit (INMAS), a first of its kind initiative that has been undertaken in India for the cause of Medical Affairs personnel to interact, learn, share new ideas, best practices, and case studies amongst this evolving community. He also convened Indian Patient Access Summit (iPAS), a novel initiative that aims to bring together experts from pharma, med-tech, health-tech, healthcare consulting/start-ups and investors forum to give meaningful insights and address the most pressing issues on patient centricity and empowerment. He is also the President of ISPOR Mumbai - India Chapter. He has recently founded a patient centric mobile app named KYT or Know Your Treatment, which is India’s first healthcare data monetisation platform, that incentivises treatment adherence. He has around 50 publications to his credit in various national and international journals.
