Amil Devchand joined the Group in 2011 and was appointed to the Board in 2012. He has held numerous positions in Lenmed, most notably, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer. He was appointed Deputy CEO in 2018 and CEO in 2020. He is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive industry experience, having served as the Chairman of the
National Hospital Network (NHN), and as a current director of the Hospital Association of South Africa (HASA). He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, having completed the General Management Program.
