Ami Reiss is a real estate investor and the founder of Reiss Management, a Quebec-based residential real estate company specializing in the ownership and management of apartment rentals across Montreal and Laval. Under his leadership, the company has built a reputation for providing well-maintained, professionally managed housing focused on
long-term tenant satisfaction, community stability, and value.
Reiss studied business and psychology at Yeshiva University before beginning his career with Divco, one of Quebec’s largest construction firms. During his time there, he worked closely with the company’s founder and chairman and gained experience in both construction and real estate operations. He also contributed to several major development projects, including the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
Reiss later transitioned into property management through Vista, Divco’s real estate holdings division, where he worked as a building manager and developed hands-on expertise in operations, tenant relations, and management. In 2009, he acquired his first 16-unit apartment building, marking the beginning of his independent real estate career. Following the success of that investment, he expanded into larger multi-residential properties and, in 2016, founded Reiss Management to oversee a growing portfolio of rental communities throughout Quebec.
Today, Ami Reiss is recognized for his practical knowledge of Montreal’s rental housing market and his tenant-focused approach to property management. His work emphasizes responsible ownership, proactive building operations, and the creation of high-quality living environments that remain accessible to a broad range of residents.
Outside of business, Reiss is actively involved in philanthropic initiatives across Montreal and Quebec. Through charitable giving and community support, he contributes to organizations focused on education, food security, healthcare, faith-based institutions, and services for children and individuals with special needs.
