Allison is a corporate marketing professional with fifteen years' experience in strategic communications, marketing, PR and media relations for the technology sector. She has worked with both startups and major corporations.
In her role as the Director of Corporate Marketing at Chrysalix EVC, Allison oversees the company's brand and
messaging, helping to establish Chrysalix as North America’s recognized leader in venture investing in breakthrough sustainable innovations for major industries in transition.
Allison was previously responsible for the corporate marketing, communications, stakeholder relations, and PR activities at a national wireless accelerator, supporting the company's mandate to provide early stage wireless technology companies with the resources needed to drive economic and social benefits for Canada.
She has also provided strategic communications, PR and media relations support for Bell Canada’s Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games sponsorship and corporate initiatives in Western Canada.
Allison led the corporate marketing activities that helped establish a rapidly growing mobile technology company as an internationally recognized market leader, as well as being named one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People and winning awards such as the BDC’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Ready to Rocket for BC.
Allison has a BA Honours from Queen’s University, and a MSc Management from the London School of Economics.
