Alex Kisch is the SVP, Business Development & Business Affairs at Vevo. He is responsible for defining and developing VEVO’s global legal strategy, overseeing content acquisition, licensing, syndication and distribution efforts, as well as VEVO’s day-to-day legal affairs.
Prior to VEVO, Alex was Vice President of Music Strategy at MTV
Networks, where he worked to develop and expand MTVN’s global music initiatives across linear and VOD-TV and online and mobile platforms on a cross-brand basis. He also held posts within Business & Legal Affairs at Sony BMG and BMG Music.
Prior to that, Alex represented numerous recording artists and independent record labels, as well as working as a recording artist / songwriter himself.
Alex holds a BA from Vassar College and a JD from Boston University School of Law.
