I'm a Trauma and Orthopaedic Registrar, currently working in the Thames Valley Deanery as well as Co-Founder and CEO for Oxford-based start-up company, Newrotex Ltd - a company that has developed an effective and novel approach to performing peripheral nerve repair using silk. I also maintain my interest in rowing and sports medicine by acting
as the Lead Doctor for the GB Rowing World Class Start Program.
I'm also a Scientific Advisor to Oxford Biomaterials, a company that focuses on novel medical applications for silk and have previously worked as a Research Associate at the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences and the Department of Zoology, at the University of Oxford leading research into understanding the mechanical properties of diseased human tissues.
