Alex Shen is responsible for building GetYourGuide’s presence in China. GetYour-Guide is the leading travel marketplace with the world’s largest collection of over 25’000 travel activities in more than 2000 destinations worldwide. Founded in 2009, the company is backed by KKR, Spark Capital, Highland Capital, Kees Koolen and Fritz Demopoulos.
Prior to GetYourGuide, Alex has worked in a variety of China related roles in travel in-dustry including co-founding zhuyouyou.com, an online tours and activities booking platform for Chinese tourist traveling to Europe. Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Imperial College London.
