Alexander Schifter is a fractional CFO consultant with Centripetal Advisors, where he partners with leading enterprise SaaS startups to help them scale. He also invests in his clients when opportunities arise, leveraging his entrepreneurial experiences and financial expertise to guide SaaS founders toward success. Having built and managed his
businesses, he understands startup business planning, strategic finance, and revenue operations.
In 2022, he acquired XO Espresso Bar, a specialty coffee bar in Miami known for its high-quality coffee and wellness drinks. As the owner and CEO, he oversees business development, financial planning, procurement, human resources, and payroll for the two café locations. After several years, he expanded into wholesale operations and sought new standalone locations and franchise partners. Later this year, he plans to open a new XO Espresso Bar in a luxury Miami Beach area. Additionally, he secured an exclusive three-year consulting and coffee supply agreement with French patisserie Yann Couvreur, which supports several XO locations.
In 2021, Alex Schifter co-founded Hello Arthur, a medical and dental supply marketplace designed for healthcare providers to purchase directly from manufacturers, passing on savings to customers. Although the company achieved six figures in revenue, he ultimately decided to wind down the business and focus on XO Espresso Bar.
His career began in 2015 as an Investment Bank Analyst at AGC Partners in Boston, a boutique investment bank specializing in M&A advisory for middle-market technology companies. Technology Investment Banker spanning several midsized and large regional boutiques from 2015 to 2020. He worked on buy-side and sell-side engagements, client pitch books, management materials, and financial models. Later, as an Associate at DCA in New York, he participated in 10 deals, including equity capital raises and sell-side advisory, and performed due diligence for potential venture capital investments.
Afterward, he worked at Pharus Advisors, a New York-based merchant bank, contributing to multiple deals, including sell-side advisory and equity raises. In his recent role as Vice President at Trousdale Capital Management, Alexander focused on evaluating and executing growth equity investments in the enterprise software space. He worked on two completed investments and built financial models and investment memos.
Alexander Schifter graduated with a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Tufts University, where he competed as a varsity athlete. His philanthropy includes fundraising for cancer research, building homes for Habitat for Humanity, and supporting various local causes in Miami.
