Hi there! My name is Alex Reinking. I'm a junior at Yale University in New Haven, CT. I am a double major in pure Mathematics and Computer Science; I have a passion for these subjects, and have spent most of my life learning as much as I can about them. In particular, I am fascinated with programming language theory, convex optimization, graph
theory, and category theory. I'm an aspiring software developer and mathematician. I've been programming since 2002, and have loved every minute of it. I've developed desktop, systems, and analytic software in a variety of languages including C/C++, Java, Haskell and Python. I have web development experience with a typical LAMP stack, too. My previous job with Automation.com provided a chance to hone my web development skills.
