Alex Chu joined SIG in 2012 as SIG China Legal Counsel .Prior to joining SIG, he was senior M&A Legal Counsel in Tencent Holdings Limited leading numerous Tencent’s onshore and offshore investment deals and an attorney-at-law in Jun He Law Offices, Shanghai Office representing numerous MNCs, VC/PE funds and investment banks in cross-border
M&A, VC/PE investment and restructuring deals. Prior to that, Alex Chu also worked as a legal counsel of Intel China Limited to support Intel’s daily operation and Intel Capital’s several venture deals in China. Alex Chu has extensive working experience in the regime of M&A, VC/PE investment, fund formation and direct foreign investment.
Alex Chu received his LL.B and LL.M degrees from East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, China.
