At Duetto, Alex was the first executive in EMEA to launch the product and build the European organisation from scratch with focus on revenue generation.
His contribution to Duetto amount to kick starting the organisation in Europe, Revenue Growth and Business Enablement:
- Delivered several multi-million dollars in EBITDA by signing more
than 600 properties, more than half of the global portfolio, building the brand into a major player
- Delivered substantial portion of the company new business revenue globally in 2015/2016
- Signed the cornerstone account that propelled further capital investment to accelerate global expansion
- Sold successfully into the C-Suite and the power base across EMEA, signing first major enterprise deal within six months
- Hired and developed senior sales directors and mentored them on all deals enabling 15 operational hires
- Leveraged customer and industry insights to adapt the product to EMEA markets
- Game Changer Award – Signing the biggest contract in company history (nH Hotels)
At SiteMinder, Alex has successfully eliminated entry hurdles, built alliances and negotiated integrations, catapulting the breakthrough of SiteMinder’s game-changing technology to empower hotels to boost profitability making it the industry standard channel manager in Spain.
His leadership at SiteMinder took the taking the company from 14 to 3,500+ customers in two years, delivering over several million dollars in recurring revenue, a significant of the company’s revenue.
Among his achievements:
- Enterprise Sales individual contributor delivering 40+ new hotel chains
- Led business development in Southern Europe and Latin America achieving the most successful model in the company worldwide, later replicated globally
- Forged partnerships to deliver integrations with 50+ major technology providers: distribution channels, Property Management Systems, Central Reservation Systems, Internet Booking Engines & Revenue Management Systems
- Cultivated and managed a strong white-labeled distribution network with Tech Providers across the region
- Enabled head count growth of 40+ operational staff to service new customers
