Ale Gicqueau founded Clinovo in 2003, with the vision of bringing medical innovations faster to market by leveraging proven technologies to run clinical trials more effectively. Over the last 11 years, Ale grew Clinovo organically from a small SAS consulting firm to a leading EDC vendor with data management and biometrics
capability. Ale is an entrepreneur at heart and he is a strong supporter of open source, web 2.0 technologies and global standards to accelerate clinical trials. Ale conducts Official CDISC Training to share his expertise and promote CDISC standards in the industry.
Ale started his career at IBM. Prior to founding Clinovo, Ale worked in healthcare informatics in companies such as Axolotl (acquired by Ingenix) to develop advanced Clinical Networking solutions to meet the diverse and changing needs of physicians, hospitals, RHIOs and statewide HIEs to achieve interoperability across entire medical trading areas.
