Albert C. Corhan, Sr. has been active with the Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn administration for more than a quarter century. As director of academy operations and advancement, he informs key functions at a coeducational college preparatory day school that stands as the oldest, private, independent, continuing institution in the borough. The oversight

responsibilities of Albert C. Corhan, Sr., extend to special projects and events organized at the Academy.

Mr. Corhan attended the distinguished institution’s Upper School College Preparatory Program and subsequently pursued studies at St. John’s University in Staten Island. His course of studies spanned fundraising, event planning, marketing, and project management. He has supported the Academy before and throughout his professional services, and for this received the Dr. Edwin N. Beery '27 Alumni Award for Distinguished Service in 2000. In his early years as an Adelphi administrator, he also earned the Man in the Arena Award.

Albert C. Corhan, Sr. teaches Leadership and Communications at Adelphi’s Upper School. He additionally serves as Adelphian Theater Arts Program and Masquers Drama Society executive producer, and helped launch the AdelphiRocks! Musical Arts Program.
