Prior to joining AVT, Alan Then has enjoyed a career spanning over two decades in technology and business. Prior, he served eight years as the COO of Advance Optical Systems, a secure communications system company. Alan holds a BSc. and MSc. in Material Science and Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, and an MSc. in Technology Management
from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been granted a number of patents in the fields of Micro-electro-mechanical-systems (MEMS) and sensors.
