Alan Dea is a senior video game business consultant, analyst and strategic planner.
Alan has held roles at various video game development, technology and publishing companies. Alan has developed business plans and strategies that have secured multi-million GBP funding and grants for various game development studios and online game projects.
Alan has a Masters of Business Administration with a focus on the video game industry and has worked with The Independent Games Association developing research on the effects of the publisher business model on the video game development industry. Alan has a BSc in Interactive Systems and Video Games Design.
Before joining the video game industry Alan held senior executive and creative roles at various advertising & design agencies, computer based training, Internet and design organisations and also founded and ran a successful Internet advertising company called SteamDriven in the 1990's
Alan spends his time working with Simple Lifeforms developing the best and most entertaining social games in the world and also consulting for various video game development and publishing companies on their publishing, business, marketing and funding strategies.
