Alan Goodstat is a licensed clinical social worker and holds an advanced degree in Social Work from Columbia University. As senior vice president and chief compliance officer for Lakeview Health, Alan has more than three decades of experience in behavioral health and substance abuse operations. He works collaboratively with clinical and medical
leadership to address all internal and external regulatory compliance for the 220-bed dual-diagnosis and addiction treatment facility. He supports, trains, and coaches utilization review and clinical staff on documentation and direct care issues. Alan works closely in the development and implementation of third party insurance providers and compliance documentation for the DEA, JCAHO, AHCA, DCF, FDA, CSAT, DOH and CMS. He has been instrumental in integrating EMR and lab services into residential treatment centers.
