Designed and oversaw the production of the very first Cable TV passive RF filter line known as "traps" in 1975 . These traps were designed to meet the need of the emerging premium channel programming market. A trap is a cylindrical device placed in-line between a telephone pole and a house that restricts the flow of a premium channel into
the home. Specifically designed for the HBO launch, traps and filters would later filter additional premium program channels enabling Cable Systems to package content consistent with their marketing objectives and consumer needs.
