As Chief Financial Officer for Summit Capital, Al works closely with Managing Partner Rob Martin on all aspects of the day to day management of the firm.
Prior to joining Summit in 2013, Al founded Engineered Control Systems Inc.(ECS), a security electronic solution for detention facilities, in 1992. After building the company for 18 years he
sold ECS to The Gores Group in 2010. In the early part of Al’s career he was Vice President of Administration at Keytronic Corp. and spent 8 years in public accounting with Price Waterhouse.
Al received his BBA in accounting from Gonzaga University in 1972 and is a CPA. Al and his wife live in Spokane.
