Dr. Alaa Meshref is a Professor of Urology and a leading expert in prostate cancer, with decades of experience in early detection and transrectal ultrasound (TRUS)–guided biopsies. He heads the Presidential Initiative for Prostate Cancer Screening in Egypt, launched under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, and has
delivered numerous teaching courses and lectures across Egypt. Alongside his clinical expertise, Dr. Meshref is pioneering the use of AI in healthcare, having created an AI-powered clinic documentation app (SaaS) and has delivered many lectures on AI uses in Healthcare in Egypt, KSA and UAE.
