As a Co-Founder & CEO, Adarsh has created a niche for SunSource in the global solar market. A firm believer of sustainability, Adarsh is one of the respected faces in the solar energy sector in India and South East Asia. His background in solar engineering and research, and extensive implementation experience in solar power plants across the
globe make him one of the leading lights of the international solar energy fraternity.
At SunSource, Adarsh leads business and project development, financial and capital-related efforts, and O&M initiatives, along with crafting the company’s long-term strategy. He works at creating key relationships, and building a worldwide team to put in place innovative business models and project development approaches to deploy solar technology effectively across geographies.
Adarsh has nearly two decades of renewable energy experience in engineering and commercial roles globally. He has worked with leading solar companies including the US based solar inverter manufacturer Solectria, wind and solar groups at GE, and Konarka Technologies. Starting his career working on solar projects and operations for SELCO, a globally acclaimed Indian solar company, he has also spent time at Booz & Co., Chicago as a management consultant. Adarsh’s last role prior to SunSource was at DTE Energy, a Fortune 500 energy company where he helped shaped solar business strategy and launched project development focused on utility scale solar projects with significant capital commitment.
