An investor and entrepreneur based in Toronto, Aaron feels strongly about supporting small and mid-cap private companies by offering them effective strategies and solutions to achieve their growth goals and execute business plans with confidence.
Aaron studied at the
Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University in London, Ontario, where he obtained a degree in business. He started his career in consulting at Mercer before transitioning to investment banking at Macquarie Capital Markets Canada, the Canadian division of Macquarie Bank.
After leaving investment banking in 2009, Aaron sharpened his skills as a principal, analyzing companies and their business transactions. Since then, he has partnered with various merchant banks and family offices, providing capital solutions and driving growth initiatives. He has also advised both public and private companies, serving on the Board of Directors and as a Named Executive Officer for publicly listed companies.
Aaron co-founded SagePoint Capital Partners in 2022 and currently serves as a Partner, helping entrepreneurs unlock their potential.
Additionally, he has been a founding and early-stage investor in five businesses that have each grown to $1+ billion in enterprise value, making him a valuable asset to any entrepreneur or company looking to scale their business.
Aaron also makes time for his community, volunteering with multiple child and mental health related initiatives and also donating to Autism Speaks Canada, CAMH The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, and the SickKids Foundation.
