Aaron currently serves as Senior Confidential Specialist to the Executive Director at the National Education Association (NEA). His focus areas include special projects, developing and implementing strategies for strengthening NEA’s relationships within the philanthropic community and also oversees a portfolio of NEA partnerships. Previously, Aaron
worked with Committee on States (COS) as their National Program Director, and also as a consultant to the Democracy Alliance (DA). Prior to joining these progressive organizations, Aaron was employed at various law firms and investment banking institutions in the Chicagoland area. Aaron serves on the board of the Alliance for Youth Action and New Media Ventures, and was formerly on the board of the Youth Engagement Fund and the Wyoming Education Association. He has worked on numerous political campaigns in Chicago, Denver, and Wyoming, and briefly taught in an elementary school classroom after obtaining his degree in education.
